Beach Volleyball Thijs Nijeboer
Thijs has made his way to the premier league in recent years, has been part of the league’s beach programme (Nevobo) but has gone his own way by setting up a commercial team. Besides playing nationally, he has already played several international tournaments.
“After a great career in indoor volleyball, from 2017 I have my arrows fully focused on beach volleyball”. Thijs is now together with Island Tribe on the road to the international summit. In the season of 2019 Thijs became 2nd in the ‘Overall ranking’ of the premier league, with no less than 5 medals. “Now it is also important to get international medals in order to realize the road to Paris ’24!
